Cream butter, sugar and eggs together until fluffy.

Stir dry ingredients together.

Add nuts.

Add dry ingredients alternately with the applesauce to the butter and sugar mixture.

Mix thoroughly and pour into a well greased tube pan.

Bake at 375° until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
