Cream together the sugar and oil.

Add the eggs.

Mix well.

Sift the salt, soda and flour together.

Add apples, spices and nuts.

Mix well.

Pour into greased and floured cake pans.

Bake at 325° for 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
